Last weekend at the WEF The Hague 2017, WiCS-VP and Associate Partner at Revnext Mary-Jo de Leeuw was awarded with the ‘Iconic women creating a better world for All’ award. Amongst 400 women and man she received the award from Dr. Harbeen Arora, Founder & Global Chairperson. In her speech where she congratulated the awardees she said that we need to uphold role models in a variety of sectors and make visible the inspiring work being done by so many women across the world.
Alderman Karsten Klein spoke of a special moment for the city of The Hague: “The Hague is proud to host this 2017 Women Economic Forum edition. It is especially a proud moment, that here in The Hague a Dutch Women is receiving the international prestigious Award 2017 “Iconic women creating a better world for all. I congratulate Mary-Jo de Leeuw with winning this award and I hope that she will continue with inspiring so many people!”
Ms de Leeuw was awarded with this prize due to her ungoing commitment and drive for creating more and better awareness of cyber risks amongst businesses, governments and individuals.
